Living Environmentally Sustainable life….

The only way for human existence

A Healthy and Clean Environment is no longer the subject of discussion or debate among the expert, intellectuals, or policymakers, now it is the issue of everyone, the common citizen because it affects us all. Its exploitation in any region of the globe having serious repercussions all over the planet.

All over the world, developed as well as developing countries are spending over $5 trillion, collectively, on annual basis to fight against indoor as well as outdoor pollution. As, according to Newton’s Law, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Since the growing effect of human action on nature, its deterioration has increased manifolds. Environmental engineering has thus taken a lead in researching and carrying out activities that identify, track, control, and address pollution problems. Understanding & learning about the environment that how it reacts to various human activities is the first step forward in moving toward sustainable life where humans live in harmony with the earth’s ecology.

Environmental Engineering: Why should one Pursue as a Career?

At the University level, there are a lot of areas, to develop a career on but none has proven to be more important from an environmental prospect than environmental engineering. Environmental engineering, a civil engineering sub-set, is concerned with protecting the world from the adverse effects of pollution. Students in this field of study learn how to plan and execute projects that benefit the human race.

Environmental Engineering is a very large area where it is possible to extemporize a lot. This has emerged as a solution to environmental challenges and in solving global contamination issues and contaminated drinking water, as these engineers apply the principles of engineering, soil science, chemistry, and biology.

Area of specializations are:

  1. Environmental impact assessment and mitigation
  2. Water supply treatment
  3. Liquid and solid waste management
  4. Air pollution treatment and management

The environmental engineers’ profession is an immensely satisfying profession that encompasses safeguarding the environment from the perilous effects of waste-producing human activity. The fields of primary concern for the environmental engineer are climate change, biodiversity, and other global issues.

Environmental Projects may be challenging, but in long run, ensure a lively environment for humans. Nowadays, Bachelor’s courses offer environmental engineering certifications. It is also a stable profession, where there is work to be done, all year-round. Professionals in this area can come from diverse backgrounds in engineering.
