USP of the Department in Civil Engineering

USP of the department is the infrastructure containing well established labs and experience of construction work at the campus. As in civil engineering practical approach is required for growing in the industry. Approach of students towards study is changed from more of practical than theory by teaching them in labs and giving them exposure of construction site. The Department has ten laboratories with latest equipments for enriching practical experience of students. Here, students are getting equipped with the practical skills required on the onset of their professional life as a graduate engineer.

Soft Skill English aptitude enrichment tutorials for employability competency development and also for competitive exams.
Proficiency development training for GD & PI, on most occasions on one to one basis
English Language Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Aptitude Skill Class-room and software based training for aptitude proficiency development for campus placement.

Technical Skill Design – Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Identification and solving of engineering problems.
Design techniques and working with  maps, drawings and models, as well as CAD software.
Evaluate the work of others and ensure their work is in compliance with within any applicable laws, regulations and standards.
Apply Engineering principles to develop solutions within the built environment
Advanced skills in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus and statistics
