American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) has the mission to advance the arts and sciences of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigerating. The foremost source of technical information & the primary provider of opportunity for growth in the science of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigerating is this society. It envisages to serve humanity and to promote a sustainable world with a vision to be the global leader in its horizon. ASHRAE has more than 56,500 members in over 132 countries. It also has more than 5,600 student members in it and more than 185 chapters and 300 student branches. It’s our privilege to be the part of ASHRAE as SGT ASHRAE Student Chapter. Now we are in world’s largest HVAC& R association of Consulting Engineers, Contractors, Manufacturers, Manufacturing representatives, Architects and Students across the globe. It gives us significant opportunities for professional development in our university and continuing education that will be represented globally.
